Apex Nurseries Inc

This is definitely not a nursery. All this is is a dilapidated what used to be a nursery maybe started in the 1950s. I was traveling home from Newbern and thought oh I saw the sun and then I would stop and get so excited to buy some beautiful flowers. They have no flowers and their greenhouses in which the greenhouses look like they are falling in then I saw plants on the opposite side of the roadway, which is a busy street and not safe to walk across. There are cars here. I have no idea what they’re doing. However, the sun says mulch, and when I drove down that road, it came to a dead end that did not look safe and a lot of flower pots. Throw it out everywhere. This place needs to be investigated and definitely closed down as a business!

Signage should indicate that this is NOT open to the public. Driving home after a morning out and have been on the hunt for a couple specific plants and saw signs and thought hey we will check here they might have them. Only to discover multiple entrances and buildings and a confusing layout and no real signage directing you where to go but plenty of signs stating Apex Nurseries. We gave up and left pretty quickly. Once home I looked the place up to try to determine where exactly one would enter and that's how I found out it's not even open to the public anyway. A simple "Wholesale Supplier" added to the signs would suffice and would have prevented us from wasting our time.

I corrected them on how to fly our flag. They refuse to fix it. There is no punishment for defiling the flag code. But why would you give your money to a company that is that ignorant and disrespectful. I know I won't.

Very rude. We are visiting from out of state. We took our little granddaughters to see a nursery and to buy some plants for their yard. A man was standing out front, he saw us and turned and walked away. Went to the office, no one there. Headed to the green houses, no one there. Another man asked us what we wanted. Told him and he said, “ They’re just getting started, don’t really have a anything.” I asked if I could show my granddaughters the greenhouses. He told us to go ahead. Then a woman came asked us what we were doing, explained to her. She said, “we are a wholesale business and told us to leave. Wouldn’t even tell us where we could find a nursery open to the public!

Very disappointed in their mulch quality. Worst triple shredded hardwood mulch we've ever gotten. Had 6-10 inch pieces consistently throughout. They delivered 7 yards worth in the street (not allowed by association ordinance ), placing it on a pile of sticks, rocks and weeds I had carefully removed from the garden beds the day before, instead of in the driveway as we had requested. Will NOT be using their mulch again!!!!!
